CO - Carbon Monoxide Alarms. To alert occupants of a house to dangerous levels of CO gas levels. Carbon monoxide is produced when cooking or heating appliances, such as boilers, built-in ovens or freestanding cookers, aren't fully burning their fuel.

Smoke & Heat Alarms

A  must for any home. Minimum one smoke alarm at the bottom of stairs & one at the top of stairs.

Then a heat alarm in the kitchen (& utility). Plus heat alarm where open fires or stoves are installed. Additional rooms for means of exit should have an alarm.

Best are alarms are mains powered, interconnected to each other & have battery backup. Lithium 10 year built-in battery type is better over 9V PP3 battery type as they need replacing every year or two and beep to tell you.

None mains alarms with Lithium built-in batteries & radio interconnection are available, that do not require wiring for mains & interconnection link.
